ROBERT BURNS Partner

Robert is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. He started his career in underwriting for Nationwide Mutual Insurance specializing in commercial property assessment. Prior to leaving the insurance industry, he had worked his way up to field commercial property specialist. His next venture began in 2012 as a contract worker in the Distribution Strategies Group for Wells Fargo. He specialized in trade area analysis to provide Wells Fargo with key metrics focused on health of the trade area, market potential, and competitive threats. In 2013, he co-founded the partnership of GeoScouts continuing his passion and dedication to this career. Robert makes his home in Denver and is an avid mountain and road biker, he is also an accomplished skier and snowboarder.

LESLEY HANSON Partner

Lesley began her career in Malibu, CA at a top five bank when she was 18 years old. While working full time, getting married, buying her first home in San Diego, and becoming a mom all under the age of 25, she worked her way into a management role. After her departure from banking, she accepted a position as an accounting manager for a premier background screening company reporting directly to the CFO. A key member of several start-up ventures, she was instrumental in creating accounting processes for new firms. In 2006, she accepted a role in branch location survey and development for Wells Fargo Bank; applying the knowledge gleaned from her work there, she co-founded GeoScouts 14 years later. Additionally, she has run accounting for the firm since its creation in 2013. In her free time, Lesley enjoys traveling with her family in their camper and rooting passionately for her favorite Football team, the Los Angeles Chargers.

JON MIDDLETON Partner

Jon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned a B.S. in Geography with a concentration in location analysis. He has 20 years’ experience as a real estate research analyst. During his term at Warren & Associates, a Charlotte-based commercial real estate and economic development research firm, he was instrumental in the Charlotte-Mecklenberg, NC Industrial Land Use Analysis and the Dorothea Dix State Hospital Redevelopment Plan for Raleigh, NC. Since joining GeoScouts in 2013, he has clocked 450,000 miles in 38 states logging reports for clients. Jon resides in Charlotte where he has developed an appreciation for craft beer and barbeque.

HOLLY WIPFLER Partner

Born in upstate New York, Holly moved to California with her family in 1982. Completing her B.S. in Psychology at San Francisco State University, she stayed in the Bay Area to pursue a career as a firefighter with the San Francisco Fire Department. With her love of travel and a young family, Holly switched careers eight years later, taking on the role of a site surveyor for a nationwide bank. It was there she developed a dedication for fieldwork and data collection. In 2013, she co-founded GeoScouts, partnering with like-minded and equally devoted data geeks who cover the United States from coast to coast. When Holly is not traveling for work (or pleasure), you can find her seeking adventure in her Wine Country back yard or scorekeeping a little league game.
